Many people are raising awareness about the consequences of climate change, that is the reason why they have decided not to have children, modify their diet, not use gasoline vehicles, be zero waste, and even pressure the government to carry out initiatives in favor enviroment.
Using renewable energy is one of the goals of dozens of companies in Mexico. To achieve this, solar panels have been installed around the country, which has generated savings of up to 95% in electricity rates; This means a great benefit for homes, companies and industries.
100 thousand solar roofs have been installed in Mexico
According to the Mexican Solar Energy Association (Asolmex), solar generation distributed through solar roofs reached the first 100 thousand interconnection contracts in Mexico, this represents 117% growth.
Héctor Olea, president of Asolmex, says that the Chile Mobile Number List installed capacity in solar roofs reached 817 megawatts in July 2019, which represents 1% of national capacity, when three years ago it was zero.
"This speaks of sustained growth in distributed solar generation, which is consolidating itself as one of the most competitive technologies in Mexico."
According to the study called Distributed Solar Generation Initiative , prepared by pulse width modulation (PWM), it says that by 2024 various economic, environmental and social benefits are expected, among which the following stand out:
Investments for more than 150 billion pesos.
Reduction of 27 million tons of CO2.
Decrease of 27 billion liters of water.
On the other hand, the cost-benefit analysis of Distributed Solar Generation in Mexico, prepared by GIZ (agency of the German Federal Government), shows that the installation of solar panels on roofs has generated direct investments of 1.3 billion dollars, and 9 1,258 jobs throughout the value chain.
According to El Economista, solar roofs are distributed as follows:
75% in homes.
20% in shops.
5% in industries.
Among the states where facilities are housed are:
Jalisco (17,097).
Nuevo León (11,045).
Mexico City (7,376).
Chihuahua (5,823).
State of Mexico (4,380).

Information from the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), says that if the current growth trend continues, it is expected that by 2023 there will be 650 thousand interconnection contracts nationwide, with an estimated capacity of 4,121 megawatts, “which would contribute to improve the country's energy sovereignty and the competitiveness of the electricity supply."
Since last year, this growth has been predicted, since raising people's awareness of the climate has worked, although at a slow pace.
It is important that both in our country and in the world, we begin to understand the positive impact that the use of solar panels has for us.
Mexico is part of the solar belt, an area that considers the countries with the highest solar radiation in the world, which makes this implementation even more urgent.
In the following years, Mexico is expected to rank seventh worldwide in terms of solar energy generation.
Thanks to the advantages that solar energy has, nearly 40 solar power plant projects are currently being built.
It is expected that in the coming years, solar energy will be captured by the majority of Mexican homes. However, the practice of solar collection in Mexico is still far from the 10 nations that make the most use of this type of energy.
